Centerville Gym Honored 9/11 Terrorist Attack Victims with Stair Climb Challenge
The local fitness center hosted its annual symbolic stair climb to commemorate the lives lost in the September 11th attacks.

Yesterday, Crunch Fitness in Centerville held its annual 9/11 memorial stair climb, inviting members and staff to participate in the symbolic tribute to the victims and first responders of the September 11th attacks. The event challenged participants to climb 110 flights of stairs, mirroring the number of floors in the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers.

This marks the 23rd anniversary of the tragic events, and the gym has maintained the tradition as a way to honor both the lives lost and the heroic efforts of the first responders who risked everything that day. The challenge, which was hosted on the gym’s StairMaster machines, serves as a physical reminder of the endurance and bravery demonstrated during the attack.

Crunch Fitness encouraged the community to join in and reflect on the sacrifices made by participating in the physically demanding task. As an added incentive, the gym offered a complimentary one-week membership to anyone who completed the climb.
