The City of Valdosta has announced that the final round of storm debris removal will take place on Monday, January 6th, 2025. Residents are urged to ensure all debris is placed at the curb by this deadline.
This final collection effort will be managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under a FEMA disaster relief contract. After the January 6th deadline, property owners will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of debris removal.
City officials emphasize that this is the last chance to take advantage of this no-cost service. Residents are encouraged to act promptly to ensure the community remains clean and safe.
