The Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets are riding high after another decisive victory. Finishing last season strong, the Yellow Jackets triumphed with a 49-21 win against Woodward Academy last December, brining home their 6th championship trophy. The team, currently ranked 5th in Georgia and 31st nationally, is proving why they are a force to be reckoned with yet again this season.
The Yellow Jackets have started their 2024 campaign with a flawless record. With two wins and no losses, the team is looking as strong as ever. Last Friday, they crushed the Cairo High School Syrupmakers with a 44-14 victory, showcasing both their offensive firepower and defensive resilience.
Their next matchup is against the Florida State University High School Seminoles, scheduled for tomorrow at 7:00 PM. The Seminoles will undoubtedly be a formidable opponent, but the Yellow Jackets have demonstrated they are more than capable of rising to the occasion.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Yellow Jackets continue their quest for another championship season.
